Hi Everyone,
In order to see all of Mighty Mouse -Lord Oliver Monta Purrington's exploits, you must be a member of Cat World or join when you click the link.
So, since I know other friends and facebook people are reading, I thought it would be a good Idea to show you how far he's come....and I will probably do this once every week or two with different pictures.
In the beginning it was hard to believe he was actually a kitten, he looked so bizarre.
He could barely walk - his rib cage showed and he had a little ping pong ball for a tummy. But BOY could he purr. And when he started eating!!!

Oh Oliver you little spunk! What a journey you have shared with us all. Keep on growing and we hope to see you at the BIG show in Melbourne in May. I bet Mum hasn't told you about that as she just knows that you will want to go, hehehehehe, sorry Coral, the kitten is out of the bag!
ReplyDeleteNooo....don't think I will be going.....except to see you guys. Unfortunately I do not have show cats and there are people I would probably rather NOT see!
ReplyDeleteOhhh...don't be a spoil sport, you know he would LOVE to be the centre of attantion and he would be in the pet/companion section, not the pedigree classes. We will catch up for a coffee and l - o - n - g chat anyway! You could have a postcard or photo for him to sign with his cute little paw, just to keep of his fans happy.
ReplyDeleteOliver your one Cute little Babe even in the Fur.
ReplyDeleteYour a real Babe with a real tail now.
Hows mummy going with all those Peaches Aunty Kerry gave her i hear she is cooking up a storm and i hope mummy is leaving you some.
Kerry
P.s. group 4 is the ways to go hehehehehe
Oh MM, I hate to say it, you did look a little like an exotic mouse LOL You were cute though and look at you now! What a spunk :-)
ReplyDeleteOliver,I had forgotten how tiny you were.
ReplyDeleteI know you do not want to go to a silly cat show all the other cats would be jealous because you would go home with all the awards.
Ask you Mummy when and where the show is in Melbourne? A good excuse for another Melbourne jaunt.
Aunty Elaine.
Hmmmm....maybe Group 4 - but it will be awkward if judges ask why he is in that category!
ReplyDeleteOliver the judges wont ask why you aren't being shown with the other Birman kids but some may not award the top prize to a kitty who so obviously is from 'royal' lines. Group 4 is just good fun with pretty ribbons for those in the top 10 friendliest and best groomed kitties, so how could you lose?
ReplyDeleteBoy you guys are determined to see him shown aren't you? It would depend on whether Allie wants to have some fun. But I think Whooshka is probably a better candidate in group 4....or are there different categories? Mouse would win best personality and cutest feet!!!
ReplyDeletePersonality is the biggest requirement for Grp 4 and Whooshka may be frightened whereas MM will enjoy all the hustle and bustle. The National will have 600+ cats on show over the two days at the Showgrounds. It is a BIG show, so you may need to take him to a smaller show beforehand.
ReplyDeleteOh I cry all over again. What a journey, you are an inspiration MM Oliver. More smoochies for you! I am already dreaming of our next rendevouz :)
ReplyDeleteCoral I LOVE MM's thoughts for the day, they are so cute and I can totally picture the words coming straight from his mouth!
Glad you were able to make it Nat!
ReplyDeleteCarole - NOTHING scares Whooshka.... he's bombproof! But it's true that if personality is the requirement MM has bucketloads of it!
